<p>NIGHTCELL 7 is a tactical shooter that runs in a browser. Until today its home page was still images and prose. It now opens with a 26 second gameplay trailer, and further down carries four frames from the playable build and a contact sheet of every 3D model the game loads.</p>

<p>Anyone deciding whether to press Play Free Demo. A storefront that describes a shooter without showing it move is asking for trust it has not earned yet.</p>
<h2>What changed</h2>
<ul> <li><strong>A 26 second trailer</strong>, 1280x720 at 30 fps. It is rendered offline from the current build rather than screen recorded. A box with no GPU manages a few frames a second, so the game is stepped instead: each frame advances a virtual clock by one thirtieth of a second, renders, and is captured. The bots are seeded, so every render is the same fight.</li> <li><strong>Four gameplay frames</strong> at 1920x1080, straight out of the playable build, with the operators, the weapons and the status bar in frame.</li> <li><strong>The IRON RAIN asset sheet.</strong> 28 models, each tile a render of the exact file the game loads, triangle count printed on it. It matches the models directory one for one, so you can check it instead of taking our word.</li> <li>Share cards and canonical URLs now name nightcell7.com rather than the deploy host.</li> </ul>
<p>The film is 7 MB, which is more than the rest of the page put together, so it does not download until you press play. The poster frame standing in for it is a frame of the film itself, not a separate render.</p>
<h2>What it is not</h2>
<p>Alpha footage of the multiplayer map. There are no title cards, no campaign footage, and no enemy kill lands on camera. The caption under the video says so and so does the press page. Trailer v2 is specced and fixes all three.</p>
